  • Both originally from the East Coast, Lora and Kyle happened to meet here in San Diego while attending an Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in 2021.

Throughout the training, they noticed an immediate strong draw to each other, and shortly after their relationship emerged.

Both Lora and Kyle had yoga practices rooted in strength paired with slow, intentional movement, to really tap into their bodies. In many ways, they have become each others teachers. Kyle has shared much of his knowledge in fine tuning postures, developing skillful movement and strength, as well as his passion for Yoga philosophy. While, Lora has shared her love of somatic practices, nervous system regulation and soothing sound meditation.

Together, they practice for hours weekly. Continuing to dedicate themselves to their craft and continuing to learn and deepen their knowledge. Their hope is to share this and help others develop a deeper understanding of themselves while moving Beyond the Body.

Hi, I’m Lora

I’m an Integrative Somatic Therapy and Meridian Yoga Therapy Practitioner, 500 RYT & Soundbath Technician.

I began my wellness journey over a decade ago, after finding yoga as a way to soothe my nervous system.

In 2013, shortly after falling in love with the practice, I began my teaching journey while living in Philadelphia.

Yoga was my gateway into the importance of mind-body connection, and how the two are intrinsically woven. This sparked a curiosity to understanding the nervous system and how it shapes our lives- leading me to earning my Integrative Somatic Therapy certification through The Embody Lab.

Most recently, I’ve become fascinated with Traditional Chinese Medicine and utilizing the meridians to deepen the connection to our mental and physical well being. I’ve been advancing my education as a Meridian Yoga Therapy practitioner under the guidance of Science of Self.

  • Lora Integrates various wellness modalities such as yoga, acupsessure, sound meditation, breath-work and therapeutic somatic approaches into her offerings.

Her hope is to help individuals find a home-coming back to themselves, as well as uncover a greater sense of balance in their nervous system.

Hi, I’m Kyle

I’m a E-RYT 500 and Certified Personal Trainer.

I spent 15 years training as a bodybuilder before finding yoga in 2018. The philosophy of yoga changed the way that I viewed movement significantly, leading me to a multifaceted approach that focuses not just on physical appearances, but mobility, embodiment and a state of well being.

I have worked with clients on general fitness, gymnastics strength training, and hand balancing both online and in person since 2017.

  • Kyle is a movement teacher who focuses primarily on a blend of gymnastics strength training, yoga asana, and weight training to help people move more powerfully and efficiently.

Using these varieties of movement modalities, my hope is to help people build more resilient bodies and nervous systems.
